Candid Blooms Studio was built around the idea that people feel most like themselves when they feel comfortable, present, and seen. Just like flowers, every person, relationship, and season of life carries its own kind of growth. No two stories unfold the same way, and that's what makes them meaningful.
We're drawn to the beauty in the way people naturally exist around the ones they love, the unspoken ways people care for one another, the energy they bring into a room, and the moments that feel ordinary until they become memories. The kind of imagery that doesn't just show that a day looked like, but what it felt like to live through it.
At it's core, Candid Blooms Studio is about preserving people as they are in the middle of becoming, growing, loving, celebrating, and changing. Beacuase those are the moments worth holding onto.

There's something meaningful to Rae about holding onto moments that would've otherwise passed by unnoticed. What started as filming everyday life became a way of preserving what time tends to take too quickly.
What first pulled Rae toward a camera was realizing how fast life moves. People change, seasons shift, and the moments that feel normal now often become the ones we miss most later on. That awareness is what shapes how she sees and documents the world.
At the heart of it, it has always been about people more than anything else, the connection, the energy, the moments no one plans for but everyone remembers. What she hopes most is simple: that years from now, you can look back and feel like you're right there again.
